Last week, Konami announced a remaster of the original Metal Gear Solid trilogy as well as a remake/remaster of MGS 3. Unfortunately, Konami also confirmed that original director Hideo Kojima (and lead character/Mecha designer, Yoji Shinkawa) won’t be connected to either project. Mr. Kojima and Konami have a bit of a rocky past. So, while this isn’t surprising, it’s unfortunate that Hideo won’t be involved. Fingers crossed the quality of the MGS 3 remake isn’t affected.
